There is a chance your problem won't be addressed by this guide since sometimes there are unique circumstances. If you run Windows 7, you will likely need to install and configure Powertools. For example, if you run Windows 10, you will probably need to run it in Windows 7 Compatibility Mode. Depending on your OS and System Specs, you may need all, some, or none of these. What I did here is pull info from several different sites based on the problems I was running into and organize it into a Steam Guide.
